I received a set of these to review and was absolutely delighted with them. I have used a few different brands of these but the build quality on these is lovely. The weight of the handle is very satisfying and easy to grip while the carbide tip is amazingly sharp and durable.
I use this primarily for scoring plasticard before snapping it as well as deepening panel lines and adding detail to my model vehicles and mechs.
I highly recommend it as an essential tool.
The box they come in and the presentation of them is amazing on its own so buying them as a gift for others isn’t a worry.

I've been using these on Warhammer models to easily apply further detail and for battle damage on minis like Space Marines. While you can do that with any sort of cutting blade, by using the engraving tool here it's far safer - a slip and you're much less likely to slice open a finger for example.

Plus not only is it good for scratches and so on, but it's perfect for entry holes etc - and for scribing into the end of a gun barrel when you don't want the drill to slip while drilling out the barrel. It's become a vital piece of my modelling equipment quickly.
