How every entry is scored
This competition uses a 'professional judging + online popularity' dual-track system.
1. Professional judging (champion, runner-up, and second runner-up of each group)
This competition will invite famous model judging masters from both China and abroad to serve on the jury, with the specific lineup to be announced gradually later.
1. Overall Impression: Evaluate the model’s pose adjustment and situational tension, check the overall proportional harmony, visual balance, and the Gundam-like presence it conveys.
2. Structural Details: Assess seam treatments, whether there’s any shrinkage, and evaluate the fineness of custom modifications (like scribing, added plastic sheets, extra detailing).
3. Basic Skills: Check the precision of assembled parts and modified pieces, including solid basics like sanding and finishing seam-free parts, and parts fitting perfectly.
4. Work Appeal: Evaluate the creativity in mechanical design, story or scene setting, whether it shows a unique personal style and mechanical texture, and whether it captivates viewers’ attention.
5. Color Presentation: Scoring covers paint spraying uniformity, smoothness of the paint surface, handling of panel lines, as well as how well color separation, light-shadow coverage, or weathering effects are presented.
This judging framework follows the common standards of international Gundam model competitions and evaluates entries comprehensively across skills, painting, and creativity.
2. Online Popularity Award (one winner from domestic and one from overseas)
From Stedi's registration links, the top 5 most popular works on various social platforms will be selected, and the highest vote count will be publicly voted on the Stedi official website. Vote manipulation and malicious solicitation are strictly prohibited; any violation will result in disqualification. The specific judging lineup, judging process, and popularity voting channels will be announced later.
